This is a remote program conducted via Slack, Zoom, and related platforms.
Junior Fellows work directly with OSI intellectuals to develop professional-level competence in philosophic thinking, communication, and producing publishable work.
Junior Fellowships run quarterly and can be renewed or transitioned to a full-time fellowship at OSI, depending on the quality of your work and your rate of improvement.
Junior Fellows are paid $18 per hour for up to eight hours of work per week.
Application Instructions
To apply, please submit the following:
- Two writing samples (in English) on a cultural or philosophic issue you are passionate about (or one writing sample and one video sample),
- A list of five books that have had a significant impact on your intellectual development,
- A cover letter explaining why you want to join the Junior Fellow Program and how it fits your goals.
